Denby Pottery, a world-renowned pottery manufacturer best known for its internationally renowned stoneware products, appointed YLEM Energy to maximise energy efficiency, reduce running costs, and to further improve sustainability at the main factory in Derbyshire.
Sustainability is integral to Denby’s strategy for growth and the business was the first UK tableware manufacturer to send zero process waste to landfill which helps to save 600 tonnes of CO2 emissions every year.

solution that will maximise savings.
Over a 12-month period, YLEM Energy worked with Denby Pottery to understand the site’s data and power requirements and identify the right long-term solution.
Handling everything from design to ecological survey requirements, planning applications and installation, YLEM Energy delivered a new Solar PV solution that will maximise savings and help to deliver Denby’s sustainability agenda.
Designed to match Denby
Pottery’s load requirements for electricity, using a ground mounted array of DMEGC Solar 550w modules, situated on land surrounding the site.
