Deal to Help TPIs Lower Client Costs
Ylem Energy Ltd – one of the UK’s leading specialist flexible energy generation providers – has launched a new deal that will enable third-party intermediaries (TPIs) to help reduce their business energy clients’ electricity bills by as much as 30-per-cent per annum whilst earning them commission at no cost to their customer.
Centred around Ylem Energy’s ability to implement its asset-based, behind-the-meter optimisation technologies such as generation, battery storage and controls, the deal enables industrial and commercial energy users to reduce their energy expenditure and boost their sites’ resilience without the need for any capital investment on their part.
For making an introduction to Ylem Energy’s deal – known as the Dynamic Power Purchase Agreement (DPPA) - the broker will not only benefit from receiving a competitive commission from Ylem Energy, but they will also extend their relationship with their client who will be saving significant sums of money for the entire duration of the ten-year agreement.
“This deal represents a win-win scenario ...”
Jon Feingold, Ylem Energy’s business development director, commented: “This deal represents a win-win scenario – where the end user gets to save significant amounts of money on their energy bills and the broker gets the kudos for making the introduction, plus they also gain a commission to ensure that they’re not losing out.”
“In addition to saving money, by optimising their site’s electrical requirements behind the meter, they’re likely to end up with a supply that is more resilient and also have the potential to unlock new revenue streams from exporting any surplus power generated on site.”
Under the DPPA deal, Ylem Energy owns, operates and maintains the systems – utilising its world-class support team that has been built on the company’s 20-million-plus operating hours’ experience in generation. With this know-how, Ylem has also developed techniques and procedures that provide exceptional levels of reliability and efficiency.
