We've detailed below a small selection videos that we hope will be of interest. Should you require any further information or assistance with your own project, please contact us.

Ylem Energy's 20MW Flexible Generation Plant

Located at the Trafford industrial area on the outskirts of Manchester city centre, the facility comprises of eight 2.5MWe natural-gas-fuelled generators that can produce up to 20MWe of fast-responding flexible power to help balance the national grid – particularly when the UK’s renewable energy output is low.

Reducing Electricity Bills with Flexible Generation

We've prepared a short video that summarises our approach to helping industrial and commercial clients save money on their electricity bills by implementing flexible generation and storage technologies.

6.6 MW Flexible Generation Plant Online

Following the recent completion of our 20MWe flexible generation plant in Trafford, Greater Manchester – our next project, a 6.6MWe system, has commenced operation at an industrial site on the outskirts of Skelmerdale, Lancashire.

First Start for a 300kVA Pramac Standby Generator

The video clip shows the Ylem Energy team starting its latest standby generation system during the testing and commissioning process. Rated at 300kVA, the natural-gas-fuelled Pramac generator will be providing vital standby power for the client's critical IT infrastructure in a Leeds city-centre office development.

Construction of a 20MW Flexible Generation Plant

Here’s another quick look at the excellent progress being made at one of our current crop of natural-gas-fuelled flexible generation plants being constructed in the north of England. As previously reported, this one will have eight 2.5 MW units offering a combined 20 MW of capacity

20MW Flexible Generation Plant

Here’s a sneak peek of another of our current crop of natural-gas-fuelled flexible generation plants being constructed in the north of England. This one will have eight 2.5 MW units offering a combined 20 MW of capacity that will be used to help balance the UK’s national grid.

Oversized Genset Swap

One of our local authority clients had a CAT genset installed on an aged landfill site which, due to the site’s gas output naturally reducing over time, meant that the engine could only operate for little more than two to three hours a day.
